We read each product's manufacturer spec sheet, manual or product page, record the figures with the basis the maker gives (max, rated or as listed) and the date we checked, and note who each product suits and one trade-off. We don't test units ourselves, and we don't rank products. Safety lines come from named sources such as the CDC and owner's manuals, and each one links to its source.
